2025 Electronics Engineering Apprentice - Level 6 Embedded Electronic Systems Degree Apprenticeship

Our exciting Electrical Engineer Apprentice role will develop your skills to become a confident, positive and flexible engineer with well-honed technical knowledge. You will work as part of the Electrical Engineering team on one of Thales multi-discipline programmes, gaining valuable experience within the discipline and supporting the team to deliver solutions to deadlines and within budget.
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are motivated, committed and keen to learn. You will be a self-starter who is able to manage their time, show initiative and has a genuine interest in engineering and Thales. Successful candidates will show self-discipline and an aspiration to achieve a degree qualification
Apprentice Programme:
As an Electronics Engineer Apprentice you will be studying towards a BEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at London South Bank University. For the duration of this 4 year programme you will combine university studies with practical application, working within our Engineering function in Reading. You will be given one day per week in which to attend university and focus on your studies. For the other four days you will be working in the business, applying your university learning in a real-life engineering environment. At the end of the programme you be working as an Electrical Engineer in Reading.
Requirements:
A Level BBB including Mathematics and Physical Science (120 UCAS points) or;
BTEC National Diploma DDM, including Level 3 Mathematics and Physical Science (128 UCAS points)
5 GCSEs grade 4-9 including English and Maths.
Right to Work in the UK for the duration of the 4 year programme.
