2025 HSE Sustainability/Environmental Graduate

Working Schedule: Monday – Friday, 37 hours a week (8 hours Monday – Thursday, 5 hours Friday)

Responsibilities
- Building your understanding of the impact of key issues for business relating to climate change, sustainability and Bio-Diversity
- Focus on Climate Change impact for Thales UK
- As an Environmental & Sustainability Graduate, you’ll advise on sustainable practices and help reduce environmental impact
- Develop and manage sustainability programs and initiatives to ensure Thales UK continues its sustainability development journey
- Collect and analyse environmental data to monitor performance and support benchmarking in industry and sectors. Use data to report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to environmental goals
- Support environmental projects, from planning to implementation. Ensure projects meet environmental standards and are completed within budget and on time
- Manage environmental aspects and impacts for Thales UK
- Support the business with audit/analysis to ISO14001 & ISO50001 standards
Graduate Programme
This programme follows the Level 7 Business Sustainability Specialist Apprenticeship over a duration of 2.5 years. Delivered by Cranfield University the course is run via a virtual delivery model, with a 3-day residential on campus per year. On completion of the programme you will acquire a Sustainability Business Specialist Apprenticeship, a master’s degree and professional recognition as a Registered Environmental Practitioner (REnvP) and Practitioner Member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) or Chartered Environmentalist (Full Member of the IEMA), depending on your level of experience prior to the course.
Requirements:
You will have gained or be on track to achieve a bachelor’s degree in any subject.
