As an Account Director within EMEA Services ComSec you will be the key account manager for a number accounts. Your focus will be to lead and grow those allocated customers, building strong relationships and becoming a trusted advisor. You are accountable for the sales performance, customer relationships and overall customer satisfaction for your client accounts.
You will fully own the customer relationship at a senior level, overseeing all aspects of project delivery, however not operational responsible for the delivery, but be a senior point of escalation. This is a strategic role within the Kainos services business in EMEA, so you will interact with other senior levels within Kainos and the customer organisation.
Key Responsibilities Will Include
- Responsible for the overall customer relationship management
- Managing the key stakeholder mapping and communication plans for your clients
- Develop an understanding of your customers by identifying their needs and requirements and align those with Kainos solutions to identify upsell/cross sell opportunities including expanding the relationship within accounts to align with the One Kainos objective
- Acting as strategic adviser to customers to drive awareness of service offerings and developing account plans with customer roadmaps for all Tier 1 customers and selected strategic customers
- Ensuring profitable customer retention
- Negotiating profitable business for Kainos in line with the margin and sell rate targets.
- Managing an accurate pipeline of opportunities in CRM to meet your assigned quota
- Maintain accurate sales forecasting, delivery start dates and overall general CRM hygiene.
- Customer satisfaction, including meeting the 70% NPS gate as well as driving towards the overall NPS KPI
- Achieve a sales target across your dedicated accounts
- Escalation management with the view to maintaining high customer satisfaction
- Establish and nurture senior relationships across the full organisation
- Maintaining key external relationships with the relevant technology partner (AWS, MS, GCP)
- Support the strategic marketing and business development activities including driving attendance to customer events as and when required.
- Timely preparation of estimates and sales proposals.
- Provide customer feedback to continuously improve our offerings and share best practice with the wider team.
- Serving as an Executive Sponsor on in-flight projects, ensuring project health via regular project health checks
- Collaborate with sales team to share insights on common problems and proposals
Minimum Requirements
- 5-10 years of account management experience
- Proven business development experience demonstrating ability to achieve and over-achieve targets
- Strong understanding of digital services and how we can solve customer problems through technology
- Experience establishing and nurturing relationships at all levels including C-level
- Innovative and driven to identify new ways to develop new business
- Experience acting as an ambassador of the brand leader internally and externally, displaying a professional, credible and positive image and attitude for Kainos
- Ability to accurately manage pipeline and report appropriately

- Strong business network across the commercial sector
- Appreciation and knowledge of digital transformation, technology delivery and agile methodology.
