The Account Manager will take on a pivotal role, responsible for growing revenue and margin across 5-10 of our largest customers by selling our Cloud, Data and Security Services.
The successful candidate will maximize wallet share of our customer accounts through a combination of cross-selling and upselling across the entire Cloud Direct portfolio by leading a virtual team to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
Responsibilities:
- Will have your own personal financial quota which you will achieve by developing and closing deals across your accounts
- Your focus will be the Microsoft Cloud stack; Azure and Modern Work (M365) solutions.
- Selling the value of Cloud Direct and attaching our Managed Services to transformation engagements is key to succeeding in this role
- Following up on targeted customer based marketing campaigns
- Designing and implementing revenue-generating initiatives
- Keeping informed of Market and Competitor activity and feeding back to Sales & Marketing Management
- Maintaining the CRM system with full detail of activity ensuring data is up-to-date and relevant for reporting purposes
- This role reports directly to the UK Customer Experience Director
Experience and skills required:
- 5+ years of Account Management experience
- Previous roles in Programme, Service or Solutions customer leadership
- A good understanding of Microsoft Cloud solutions
- Experience working with Microsoft and a network of contacts in Microsoft UK is an advantage
- Self-starter, able to leverage all available resources to understand your named customer base and create a pipeline of opportunity
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-task environment
- Proven ability of critical thinking, using logic and reason along with a sound commercial acumen
- Self-motivated and experienced in successfully working toward targets
- Demonstrated proactive troubleshooting, listening, and problem-solving skills
- A smart appearance and professional manner
