Description

We're looking for an engaging, positive and target-driven Internal Sales Account Manager to contribute to the success of our Comstor UK sales team.


As an Internal Sales Account Manager your focus will be on reseller partnership development and selling products and solutions from highly successful vendors such as Cisco. Key accountabilities will entail growing existing accounts, identifying and establishing new accounts and generating customer quotes.


Attributes required to succeed in this position include enthusiasm and self-motivation to learn about the technology/products, strong interpersonal skills to nurture vendor relationships and attention to detail to ensure accurate quoting.


Although previous IT Sales experience (1 year+) would be beneficial, we welcome applications from candidates who have gained account management within other industry sectors.

This role will be based at our Cirencester office - 4 days office/1 day remote

Sales

* Identify and establish new customer accounts (e.g. call dormant accounts, obtain leads from vendors)

* Maintain and grow business with existing accounts

* Support external sales in managing account administration

* Generate and provide customer quotes for standard/pre-designed solutions

* Consult with customers in selling and supporting vendor products and services

* Provide product presentations and sales training for assigned accounts

* Identify cross selling opportunities within vendor products and services portfolio

* Keep customers up-to-date with product-related information

* Coordinate with training, marketing, business development, and product management to effectively support the customer

* Monitor performance of allocated accounts and identify areas of opportunity

Administrative/Self Development

* Prepare for and participate in monthly sales meetings

* Ensure forecasts are submitted in a timely and accurate manner

* Prepare business development plans for strategic accounts

* Maintain and develop own knowledge of vendor product portfolio

* Some proven B2B sales and account management experience

* A self-starter who can make an immediate impact

* Competent in negotiation and influencing skills

* Clear, effective interpersonal skills

* A proficient user of MS Office
