Accounts Payable Specialist

My client are looking an Accounts Payable specialist to join the team and lead the function.

Responsibilities:

• Running the accounts payable function
• Managing the onboarding of new vendors into Finance’s systems
• Performing the financial control reviews of reimbursable staff expenses and corporate card expenses
• Performing weekly bank payment runs
• Assisting the wider financial control team with bank transaction data, statements and reconciliations
• Preparation, tracking and settlement of intercompany invoices/accounts receivable
• Scope to become involved in the management accounts

Experience/ Qualifications:

• Studying towards the AAT or equivalent accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA)
• Strong excel and analytical skills, with good attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with colleagues based overseas
• Quick learner with the ability to work autonomously
• Proactive approach to problem-solving
