About the Role

As part of our Platform Team, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, supporting both our investment team and valued clients. In this role as Addepar Maven, you’ll take the lead in managing our Addepar platform, ensuring data integrity and delivering exceptional insights.


You will also support the team in the smooth and efficient operation of our post-trade operations, supporting trading across geographies and asset classes, including alternatives, private equity and hedge funds. You will be part of a tight-knit team that designs, operates and continuously improves our systems and processes. You will also be expected to contribute to a variety of cross-functional projects and assisting the investment team and clients from time to time. For our Platform Team, we are looking for individuals who love solving problems, have a technology-first mindset and exceptional attention to detail. What you will do

  • Investment Data Management: Prepare and validate investment-related bookings for transactions, valuations, and multi-asset information in Addepar. This includes accounting, reporting, and monitoring investments like private equity and hedge funds (e.g., NAV calculations).
  • Data Integrity & Reconciliation: Ensure data accuracy in Addepar by implementing robust controls, conducting regular reviews, and performing or validating reconciliations for cash, transactions, and accounts. Quickly research and resolve variances.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Develop, prepare, and analyse monthly and annual financial reports for investors and management using Addepar.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Provide timely and accurate information to custodians, fund administrators, and other internal and external parties.
  • Client Focus: Respond to and assist clients with ad hoc information requests, delivering exceptional service.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously develop and update our processes and controls to enhance investment accounting and business processes (ChatGPT allowed).
  • Regulatory Compliance: Assist with compliance and regulatory filings, including FCA trade reporting.
  • Portfolio Onboarding: Support the onboarding of new portfolios in Addepar, including modelling new asset classes, gathering and cleaning portfolio data, and reconciliation of Addepar and legacy datasets.
  • Management Reporting: Provide periodic and ad hoc management information as directed by your line manager.
  • Special Projects: Undertake additional tasks and special projects as assigned by your line manager.


What you will bring

  • Minimum experience with Addepar data management, analysis and reporting
  • Minimum 2 years of previous experience in a similar role - we are open to graduates who can demonstrate the skills, initiative and motivation to learn quickly and perform at the highest level
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of various types of financial instruments (equities, bonds, FX, private equity, derivatives) and different types of corporate actions
  • Analytical skills and attention to details
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • High level of numeracy
  • Accountability and client-focused mindset
  • High motivation and engagement
  • Understanding of bookkeeping principles and fund accounting
  • Knowledge of Bloomberg/Reuters will be an asset
  • Proficiency of MS Office and 365 suite, especially Excel
