A Brief Overview
As the Team Manager for GFS Admin in the EMEA region, your primary objective is to lead and support your team in the efficient and precise administration of all treaties. You will ensure that all processes are conducted in strict compliance with SOX regulations, maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and timeliness.
Your responsibilities will encompass EMEA jurisdictions. Additionally, your expertise may be utilized in other RGA entities or affiliates outside the EMEA region, as resources allow.

- Lead and mentor a dedicated team to achieve operational excellence.
- Oversee the administration of treaties, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Ensure full compliance with SOX regulations in all administrative processes.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.
- Continuously improve processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Skills And Experience
- Develop and maintain comprehensive market knowledge of the bulk annuity pension market and its impact on the reinsurance administration of longevity business.
- Attain and sustain a high level of technical expertise in defined benefit pension schemes and individual annuities.
- Gain and uphold a thorough understanding of processing client data and associated financial reporting using RGA administration systems.
- Exhibit exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to identify patterns and connections within complex datasets. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy are essential.
- Proficiency in manipulating and transforming data using Excel. This includes advanced functions such as VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, and the use of PivotTables for data summarization. Ability to clean, organise, and analyse large datasets efficiently, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
Desirable Skills And Experience
- Possess a strong understanding of or experience in defined benefit pension schemes and/or the bulk annuity market, including associated reinsurance products such as longevity swaps and the risk factors impacting RGA.
- Proven track record of coaching, developing, and mentoring direct reports, or a demonstrated willingness to learn and grow in this area.
- Experience in creating and documenting administrative processes and workflows, with a focus on efficiency and accuracy.
