Salary: £23,151.50 per annum, pro rata which equates to £18,521
Location: Omagh
Contract/Hours: Permanent, part time (working 28 hours a week) – ideally 4 full days but can be flexible

About The Service
Action for Children's Floating Support service is based in Omagh with an outreach office in Enniskillen and covers the Omagh and Fermanagh areas.
The Floating Support Service is funded by Supporting People to provide assistance to young people aged 16-25 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness and to young people Leaving Care aged 18-25. We develop individual, outcomes focused support plans with each young person to help them develop the skills, knowledge and confidence to live independently and to contribute positively to their community.
How You'll Help To Create Brighter Futures
Some key responsibilities for the role of Administrative officer are:
- Providing full administrative support to the service team including, but not limited to,: reception duties, writing and collating reports, being health and safety contact, reporting and following up maintenance issues.
- Recording accurate information and retrieving data using our database.
- Working as part of a team yet having the ability to work on your own initiative as required.
- Being effective, intuitive, flexible, a problem solver and able to work to deadlines.
- Providing finance reports, raising invoices and coordinating petty cash.
- Assisting with completing applications for funding etc.
- Processing invoices accurately and maintaining an effective system to manage these.
Let's Talk About You
- Previous experience of working in an office NVQ 2 in Business administration or equivalent.
- Confident with figures and financial reports.
- Good working knowledge of and experience of working with Microsoft Office including Excel and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn new processes and demonstrate good practice to others.
- A professional yet personable approach to give the best first impression
- A flexible and organised approach, the ability to work to tight deadlines and be able to manage changing priorities at short notice.
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to communicate clearly at all levels by phone, email, and correspondence.
