A number of vacancies for permanent Adventure Playground Assistants have arisen at our Adventure Playgrounds within the Communities & Leisure Service. We are looking for individuals with lots of energy and experience of working with children and young people age 8–16 years. You will also have the ability to organise sports, arts and crafts activities.

You will be able to demonstrate your knowledge of Health and Safety and the values of play. You must also be willing to undertake relevant training and must be available to work regular weekends and evenings on a rota basis to facilitate the playground’s programme of activities.

Applicants must be over the age of 18.

An Enhanced check will be undertaken with the Disclosure and Barring Service to ensure that the successful candidate has no relevant convictions.
