If you have an interest in construction and engineering and an ambition to start your career in Quantity Surveying then join us for an apprenticeship at our Manchester office!
This exciting role will give you the opportunity to learn and earn as we support you in developing your knowledge in Quantity Surveying. As an Apprentice Cost Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Cost Management Team on projects, ensuring they are delivered to the right scope of time, quality and budget; on design preparation, reports, and contract documents; and when liaising with Clients and Contractors. We will support you through your time with us by further helping you develop your business, behavioural and technical skills.
You will attend university on a part-time basis where you will gain a degree in Quantity Surveying and working in our Manchester office for the rest of the week. The course will allow you to develop your skills and knowledge to be successful in the Quantity Surveying industry. Successful completion of this course will enable you to become a RICS accredited Chartered Surveyor.
You can expect to become involved in:

Our ideal Cost Management apprentice must have:
- An interest in construction/surveying/engineering.
- At least 4 x GCSEs including Math's and English at Grade C/4 or above, Functional Skills or ESFA-approved equivalents
- Experience of working to deadlines
- The ability to work well in a team environment
It would be nice for you to have:
- Motivation to progress onto further qualifications to continuously professionally develop.
- The ability to think methodically and innovative
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
