As an Apprentice Quantity Surveyor, you will support the commercial team on day-to-day commercial activities across the ENWL business to ensure our customers receive excellent service. You will also develop knowledge of quantity surveying best practices and framework agreement contract management.
As an Apprentice Quantity Surveyor you will study for a degree qualification in Quantity Surveying which will be fully funded and be provided with a detailed development plan that will support you through the qualification and enable you to grow your knowledge and experience.
Role
To give you an idea of how this Apprentice Quantity Surveyor role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:
- Support the commercial teams on all day-to-day administrative activity, including producing reports as required
- Support the team on project closure and final account activities attendance at contractor performance meetings
- Develop a working knowledge of quantity surveying best practices and framework agreement contract management
- Work with the commercial team to gain a wider understanding of the business and its interface with the contractor fraternity
- Develop relationships with key internal and external customers to support commercial activity.

- 3 A Levels (B-C) on must be in a STEM subject or;
- BTEC Extended Diploma in Construction or Engineering (minimum Mertit)
- Good IT skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to work on your initiative
- Analytical thinking
- Customer understanding and appreciation.
