About The Role
The Asset Valuation team are growing to keep up with demand, they are high performing well establish team. As an Asset Valuation Analysts, you’ll be a key part to the success of Arval. The role allows you to understand differences in vehicle models and deploy your analytical skills into historical data and trends to help project future Residual Values and maintenance budgets.
In addition, there is a high level of Data analytics through SAS (Statistical Analysis System) programme whilst displaying and presenting data using Tableau. As part of the role you will be liaising with Car Manufacturers (Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM’s)) to get insight on both current and new products arriving – this is particularly important with the rapid growth of the electric vehicle market. This specialist role combines the world of data whilst building and maintaining relationships.
Some Of Your Key Responsibilities Will Include
- Data Analysis of past vehicle residual performance and using this data to forecast future performance
- Managing relationships with OEM’s to ensure that the team has all the information to make rapid, accurate decisions
- Learn and keep up to date with what is going on in the automotive industry and market trends
- Having to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders, detailing the logic of your decisions to our front line teams and your OEM network
What We’re Looking For
You have strong numerical skills but also a keen interest in data analysis using SAS programs (Data step, SQL). you will need to be a team player who strives on hitting deadlines and working in a fast-paced environment. The ability to manage multiple activities by being well organised will set you up for success.
You will show a high attention to detail in the knowledge that the decisions you take have a direct impact on both our internal and external customers. Joining a supportive and collaborative team, so you will be someone who is prepared to help out, with the good of the team always in the forefront of your mind.
You’ll Also Be Able To Demonstrate
- Strong numerical skills, including being comfortable with analysing, interpreting and working with data
- Highly efficient in processing data with proficiency in excel at minimum.
- A positive approach with a willingness to learn and happy to challenge the norm whilst recommending improvements to the way of working
- Working Collaboratively with the team, being proactive and effectively managing your own time
- Taking ownership and pride of your work, understanding the knock on impacts to our business and the vital role you play within it
The package
We offer a basic starting salary of
up to £31,000, plus a bonus of up to
£1,900. We also offer
25 days holiday as standard
