About The Role
We are seeking a
Corporate Governance Specialist to join our team and play a pivotal role in managing global subsidiary governance, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting high-level board and committee functions. If you are passionate about corporate governance, enjoy working in a dynamic, multinational environment, and are ready to take on a challenging yet rewarding role, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Subsidiary Governance:
- Manage records, statutory compliance, and entity management software for over 80 global subsidiaries.
Regulatory Compliance
- Prepare and file statutory reports.
- Monitor legal changes to ensure adherence to relevant policies and regulations.
Board & Committee Support
- Assist with governance and reporting practices.
- Prepare for and support Group Board and regulated entity meetings.
Stakeholder Liaison
- Coordinate with directors, banks, registries, and other authorities.
- Handle confidential Know Your Customer (KYC) requests.
ESG & Reporting
- Support Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) compliance and reporting.
- Ensure adherence to UK and global ESG regulations.
Training & Transactions
- Assist in directors’ training programs.
- Support intragroup transactions and related activities.
Education
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Company Secretary qualification (part or fully qualified) is highly desirable.
Experience
- 2-3+ years of experience in corporate governance, legal, or compliance roles.
- Experience in multinational or regulated environments is a plus.
Skills
- Strong understanding of corporate law and governance principles.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
- High attention to detail with a commitment to confidentiality.
- A collaborative team player who can also lead projects independently.
- Proficiency in Google Suite / Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with corporate secretarial software.
