Overview:
The Associate Director, Global Operations is responsible for driving consistent and compliant people operations processes across the firm. This role will partner cross-functionally to develop and maintain global strategies for employee onboarding, exit management, compliance, and workforce data administration. The ideal candidate will have strong operational expertise, attention to detail, focus on time management, and a proven track record of enhancing service delivery in a global environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement a consistent global onboarding approach, including new hire logistics, documentation, and integration with the global HRIS
- Manage the global employee onboarding process, ensuring seamless coordination between regional teams. Work in partnership with the Learning team to drive effective and consistent onboarding experience
- Plan and execute a comprehensive global employee exit strategy and process in partnership with regional people operations, including offboarding workflow, feedback mechanisms, and compliance requirements
- Validate and perform global people data transactions related to job changes, name changes, promotions, transfers, and other updates in the global HRIS (Workday), ensuring accuracy and timeliness across all regions
- Work with the Global People Services Compliance Team to implement changes needed as a result of global and local regulatory changes and internal policy updates
- Analyze global operational metrics and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and service enhancement, then drive implementation of solutions across regions
- Collaborate with regional teams to document and disseminate global standard operating procedures and policies, ensuring consistent execution where applicable
- Provide training and ongoing support to local operations specialists to build capabilities and drive adoption of global best practices
- Serve as a subject matter expert and advisory resource for global people operations activities, offering guidance and troubleshooting support
- Manage and execute special projects and cross-functional initiatives to drive transformational change in global people operations
- Manage and develop operations team members, fostering a culture of learning, knowledge sharing, and career growth
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, operations management, or a related field
- Prior experience in a global people operations or HR shared services role, preferably in a professional services or consulting environment
- Demonstrated expertise in managing global onboarding, offboarding, compliance, and HRIS processes
- Proficient in data analysis, project management, and process mapping tools and techniques
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence cross-cultural and/or cross-functional stakeholders
- Adaptable and agile, with the capability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced global environment
- Experience with enterprise HRIS platforms. Workday experience is strongly preferred
- Fluency in multiple languages is preferred
