Role Purpose
Works as part of a team of auditors to successfully complete audits which provide impactful audit reports, assurance and contribute to improving the control environment.
Proactively contribute to audit team work, scrums/team meetings and independently drive audit walkthrough conversations with partners.
Independently complete audit testing, deliver work paper, draft issue and report content for your section to time and quality meeting all methodology requirements. Proactively contribute to scoping of reviews.
Provide input to the Audit Director and Senior Audit Manager on any changes or risks that you have identified in the area that you are responsible with recommendations for changes to audit plan for both the quarterly refresh and the annual plan (inclusions and exclusions) with drivers.
Role Responsibilities
- Drives the Technology audit plan optimally to quality and within budget.
- Solves sophisticated audit assurance problems escalating difficult instances where appropriate.
- Provides SME insight to others across the function with regard to the partnership and ongoing transformation, and impact on the business/ divisions.
- Delivers core components of audit engagements and has prior experience of working on technical infrastructure, shared service and application audits.
- Completes professional qualifications including passing examinations in line with agreed timescales.
Minimum Requirements
- CISA qualification
- Degree or equivalent, and relevant professional qualification
- Recognised Internal Auditing (IIA / CIIA) or Accounting Qualification. May be Part Qualified
- Moderate proven experience required in assurance delivery and supervision, including experience of completing transformation/change reviews
- Extensive partner management experience
- Experience in a fast-paced international organisation would be advantageous
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Continuous improvement attitude
