Banking & Finance Associate - 4-9PQE

Pure Search are one of only two agencies instructed by a City firm who are looking to hire a Senior Associate into their Banking & Finance team. This role will offer an unobstructed path to partnership for the right individual.

The Role:

Joining a busy and tight-knit team, you will be afforded high levels of autonomy and exposed to clients from an early stage, with the expectation that you will take an active role in leading on transactions and growing the firm's lender client base.

Clients range from banks and financial institutions to insolvency practitioners, high-growth tech clients, corporates and boards of directors. In particular, you will be exposed to a range of venture and growth finance across the technology, eSports, media and retail space. An exciting element of the opportunity will be your role in helping to build and develop the firm's banking practice and profile, both internally and externally.

About You:

You will be a qualified solicitor with at least 4-years post-qualification experience in structuring and negotiating complex corporate lending, private equity and acquisition finance deals. You will be confident working across a range of banking and finance transactions including for institutional and financial sponsor clients.

You will be someone that is proactive, with a clear growth mindset and who relishes the idea of an environment without the hierarchy of 'Big Law' where you can progress based on your ambition and intuition, rather than it necessarily being determined by your PQE level.
