Job Title: Business Analyst
Salary: £34,320 - £36,500 per annum
Hours per week: 35 (flexible working options considered in line with business needs)

You'll be required to work from our head office in Wigston, Leicester a minimum of 2 days per week. The remainder of your working hours will be undertaken from home.
The successful applicant must have the pre-existing right to both live, and to work in the UK.

In this role, you will act as the key link between business stakeholders and project teams, co-developing action plans and prioritising strategic initiatives to align with IOSH's goals. You'll work closely with internal teams to understand their needs, driving significant business process improvements by identifying, proposing, and initiating measurable benefits. Your responsibilities will include performing detailed business analysis, preparing actionable recommendations, and leading investigative work to identify and implement effective business processes through enhancements in information systems, data management, and practices. Clear communication is essential, as you'll produce detailed documentation, present findings to stakeholders, and address any uncertainties.

What You'll Bring
You will bring extensive knowledge and expertise in the role of a Business Analyst, with a deep understanding of project management, requirements gathering, and analysis techniques. Your exceptional communication skills enable you to engage effectively at all levels, whether through written, visual, or verbal means. You have a broad, enterprise-wide perspective, with a strong appreciation for business strategy, processes, and capabilities, as well as enabling technologies and governance. Equipped with strong situational analysis, decision-making abilities, and commercial awareness, you can confidently navigate complex scenarios and apply architectural principles, methods, and tools to solve business challenges. Your financial acumen and strategic insight will be invaluable in this role.
Essential Criteria
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of project management, requirements gathering and analysis techniques
- A broad, enterprise-wide view of business with appreciation for strategy, processes and capabilities, enabling technologies and governance
- Proven experience in a Business Analysis or Systems Analysis role
- Experience of developing and using high-level models as required to collect and aggregate complex and conflicting information about the business
