We are currently looking for an ERP Business Analyst
The Business Analyst is a key role for MM Flowers during an exciting time of change, transformation, and enablement of future business critical projects. The role will be a key enabler on the delivery of significant technology focused projects, and the continual development of the digital landscape across the business.
Working closely with business stakeholders from across our business, the Business Analyst will map existing processes and identify areas for improvement that will drive value in alignment with the wider strategy.
You’ll be required to have in-depth knowledge of the business processes and the technologies surrounding ERP / WMS solutions to enable the creation of documentation of “to-be” business processes and identify how MM Flowers can drive efficiency through new ways of working. The role will identify gaps in systems and processes and perform the analysis to deliver end to end improvements. You’ll have a product-centric mindset and be the conduit between the business process mangers and the technology vendors to deliver a platform to support our business strategy.

Daily Responsibilities
- Responsibility for developing new business models and identifying necessary process changes to streamline critical workstreams and drive efficiency.
- Identifying unarticulated business needs and coordinate between stakeholder groups to address them.
- Supporting the entire life cycle of critical application (ERP & WMS) solutions including discovery, design, build, test and data management.
- Defining and documenting the “as-is” and “to-be” core business processes and clearing defining the end-to-end business journeys.
- Understanding the customer journey and translating it into the appropriate medium (i.e. user stories / FDD/TDD) that enable systems to align to the core business processes to enable our customers.
- Aiding the business process managers in understanding trade-offs and developing consensus.
- Identify, challenge, and agree the business benefits achievable through digital transformation and build the framework to track these benefits.
- Define, set-up and execute test cases.
- The prototyping and co-design of innovative solutions whilst coaching business users to make use of technology and information.
- Analysing the impact (good or bad) of expected outcomes on the ERP & WMS solution, in terms of people, processes and technologies to ensure business outcomes are devised and successfully achieved.
- Identifying unmet business needs and coach business process managers on how to lead their own technology initiatives within their process workstreams.
- Determining the information (data) requirements with which to guide data management and integration decisions.
What you can already do
- Appropriate Business Analysis qualifications and certifications
- A proven track record as an ERP business analyst within CPG/FMCG across two or more of the following functions: Warehousing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing.
- Ability to gather and translate functional and non-functional requirements to an agreed standard.
- Ability to run events that identify problems and iterate solutions to enhance the business requirements.
- A track record as a business analyst on multiple ERP projects.
- An analytic ability that can work with data to identify patterns, use judgment to form conclusions that may challenge conventional wisdom, and focuses on the crux of issues to identify high leverage intervention points and strategies.
- Excellent communication with the ability to convey complex and technical business issues to diverse audiences, and projects a highly credible, polished image in presentations and communications.
- Clear understanding of the full system implementation lifecycle.
- Ability to understand and analyse data using technical approaches including structured query language.
- Working in a controlled environment with experience, knowledge, and desire to continuously improve.
- Deliver solutions within the appropriate framework and methodology whilst ensuring the supportability of services delivered.
