Role purpose
We are seeking an experienced Business Continuity Analyst to join our team here at PIC. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the continuity and resilience of our organisation during unexpected disruptions or crises. This role requires strong analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the PIC.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare comprehensive reports reflective of the intended audience that demonstrate sound analysis and recommendations for Business Continuity planning as part of the ongoing governance processes.
- Working with the Head of Business Continuity Management to ensure that our compliance with all the regulatory requirements for Operational Resilience/Business Continuity is documented and evidenced to a high standard.
- Working with the team, further develop Business Continuity documentation and embed the Operational Resilience framework, supporting the exercising and training programme, testing plans, conducting BIAs and other responsibilities.
- Take ownership for their own learning and development in both technical (e.g. data analysis and critical judgement) and non-technical (self-insight and relationship management) skills of Business Continuity Management.
Requirements
Technical:
- Experience in developing and implementing business continuity and crisis management plans including business impact analysis and efficiency planning
- Good technical knowledge of the BCI GPG (Good Practice guidelines)
- Established knowledge of tools and techniques used for the creation and maintenance of Business Impact Assessments (BIAs)
Personal:
- Strong organisational skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to organise work to meet deadlines.
