You will report to the SVP Partner Marketing & Business Development and have close working relationships with Product, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Data and Finance Teams.
Working in a fast paced and creative environment you will have the opportunity to develop strategic partnerships with Banks, Card Networks & Enterprises Merchants across the UK and EEA to contribute to Curve’s aggressive growth plans.
Key Accountabilities:
- Build, manage and grow a pipeline of prospective strategic Partners in the financial services space - Banks, Card Networks & Enterprises Merchants.
- Own all aspects of the sales cycle to acquire new Partners for co-Marketing partnership with Curve
- Generate demand for Curve among customers of various partners by testing different marketing messages and offers
- Work closely with the Growth and CRM teams to build and deploy new campaigns
- Develop new partnership constructs to increase use cases and expand Curve presence in UK and EEA - cobrands, B2B, SMEs, etc
- Seek opportunities to expand partnership with Curve where it brings value to both Curve and the partner
- Challenge the status quo, be creative in commercialising partnerships and prioritise based on strategic impact to the business.
- Own forecast and track performance of Partners vs. agreed upon KPIs.
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 10 years experience in Strategic Business Development preferably in FinTech, Payments, Banking
- Proven track record of exceeding targets within Strategic Business Development for at least five years.
- Proven track record of success in managing and converting a large pipeline of prospective partners - focusing on Enterprise prospects
- Ability to identify and qualify relevant leads/prospects.
- Strong presentation skills, particularly for in-person meetings with multiple stakeholders.
- Executive presence to deal with senior stakeholder at enterprise partners
- Proven ability to lead complex negotiations involving bespoke commercial agreement.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate with different audiences with a high degree of emotional intelligence.
- Proven project management and interpersonal skills and the ability to drive different internal teams to the outcome for the commitments made to our partners
- Ability to operate in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment
- Comfortable with new technologies and enthusiastic to learn
- Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- A strong collaborator: An ability to work independently and as part of a cross functional team
- A real hunger for success in the face of adversity and an extreme focus on driving impact
- Office London - ability to work from the office at least 3 days a week
