About The Role
Location: Midlands – you will operate within this area and therefore need to be within a reasonable travelling distance.
Salary: £28,072 - £32,605 + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.
Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available
What is the Role?
Due to our continued success and to support our future business strategy and growth we have an opportunity for a Business Resolver in the Midlands area.
This role is field based however the office and your base location will be in Reading, the requirement to attend this office will be minimal as this role is predominately field based managing a portfolio of customers. As part of your role you will:
- Visit customers and work with them and other agents to resolve their outstanding accounts and secure future payments.
- Oversee the collection of overdue payments on business accounts.
- Attend court to apply for the rights of entry warrants if required as part of the process.
- Manage account queries and meter disputes with customers and internal stakeholders through to resolution.
- Recognise and act on cross-selling opportunities such as smart meters, fixed contracts etc.
- There will be occasions where covering other areas is required to help with customer visits and warrants due to sickness, holiday, or where work dictates, with our scheduling process.
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
- Confidence when dealing with customers and possess strong communication, conflict management and negotiation skills.
- Patience and the ability to listen to work with the customer to solve problems.
- A high level of safety awareness as you will be predominately lone working. You will be provided with a lone working safety device and a body worn camera.
- A full UK driving license is essential (for a minimum of two years) due to the travel requirements and use of company vehicle for business use only.
