Job Purpose:
To be the first point of contact for the office, delivering excellent customer service through proficient call handling and aiming to exceed customer expectations by ensuring they are dealt with in a professional and efficient manner, assessing customer needs and taking appropriate action.
The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Greeting clients and visitors entering the building
- Monitoring visitor access and maintaining security awareness
- Answering the telephone in a timely and polite manner, screening and directing calls
- Take and deliver messages accurately, completely and in a timely manner
- Overseeing the Meeting Room booking procedure
- Organising catering for meetings
- Set up appointments as requested
- Receiving clients' documents, books and records etc handed in to reception and distributing to recipients quickly
- Ensuring health and safety procedures are adhered to
- Maintaining and updating the relevant spreadsheets and ensuring records are kept accurately
- Support the business lines with the administration tasks
About You:
- A leader of your work and your professional learning
- Relevant experience in this or a similar role is desirable but not essential
- Ability to work effectively both within a team and on their own initiative
- Flexible approach and ability to adapt to changing demands.
- Attention to detail and organisational skills are desirable
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to positively impact and influence others
