We are CH&CO, we’re proud to take a more thoughtful, mindful approach to the food experiences we source, prepare and present. We are recruiting for a Catering Assistant to join our small office workplace site within Cambridge. You will have the opportunity to assist with catering, tea, coffee service, reception, AV support and cleaning.

Location: Cambridge

Salary: £16,500 per annum

Working Pattern: Monday-Friday between 8:00am-07:00pm (24 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Serving tea, coffee, and refreshments in the client space
• Assist with preparing, assembling, and serving food while maintaining high hygiene and safety standards
• Ensure the kitchen and dining areas are clean, organized, and fully stocked, including washing dishes and handling waste disposal
• Interact with clients in a friendly and professional manner, addressing their needs, concerns, and requests promptly to ensure a positive experience
• Hazard management and regulatory compliance
• Covering the reception desk and offering detailed information when needed
• Ensure work areas, utensils, and equipment are clean and properly organised for efficient operations
• Manage reception duties, including replying to emails, answering inquiries, and ensuring smooth communication
• Handle booking and scheduling of meeting rooms to accommodate organisational needs efficiently
