Role Summary

You will be responsible for managing our claims across multiple business classes and on a Global placement basis. This role requires extensive claims experience and a willingness to continue to grow and develop knowledge and skills.

Role Accountabilities

  • Leading the Consilium Claims team in providing exceptional service to our clients.
  • Liaising with insurers, clients, brokers and other third parties to build relationships and resolve escalated matters.
  • Keeping abreast of London Market developments and implementing these into the Claims team where applicable.
  • Working with internal stakeholders to embed Claims awareness.
  • Working with internal experts to develop and implement new technological solutions.
  • Manage a team that includes mentoring, supporting career progression, training, and meeting SLAs.
  • Providing and undertaking training as required by the line manager.
  • Mandatory completion of company-prescribed learning and adherence to FCA rules.
  • Compliance with all company procedures.
  • Any additional duties as assigned.

Role Requirements

  • London Market experience
  • Knowledge of ECF
  • Experience in handling UK and International claims FNOL to closure
  • Property and Liability class knowledge
  • At least 5 A-C (or equivalent) Grade GCSE including English and Maths
  • Insurance qualifications e.g. CII (preferred)

Skills And Abilities Knowledge Of Word, Excel And Outlook.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to multi-task, manage conflicting priorities and work well under pressure.
  • Able to build trust by operating with integrity and professionalism.
  • Flexibility and willingness to take on additional responsibilities and work.
  • Professional approach with an outcome-focused and positive attitude.
  • Mentoring ability to assist in the development and growth of the claims team.
  • Team worker with the ability to work on their initiative.
  • Solid data entry skills with the ability to identify numerical errors.
  • Positive attitude.
