We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief of Staff to join the leadership team of this global architecture firm. The Chief of Staff will play a pivotal role in driving organizational growth, optimizing performance, fostering innovation, and positioning the architecture division as a unified, major global player in the industry.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership and Synergy Development:
- Work with Managing Director and leadership team to monitor, communicate and implement progress on key organizational metrics aligned with our 5-year plan
- Collaborate with the management team to identify and implement synergies between the architectural entities and the larger Egis group
- Drive alignment of strategic goals to promote seamless cooperation and shared success between the firms
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between the architecture firms to leverage cross-disciplinary expertise and regional opportunities
- Ensure adherence to rules and corporate process
- Executive Support and Coordination:
- Support the MD in the preparation of board meetings and executive presentations
- Act as a key advisor to the leadership team, providing insights, analysis, and recommendations on strategic initiatives
- Coordinate executive decision-making processes, ensuring alignment and timely action
- Facilitate effective information flow and communication across teams and regions
- Innovation and Industry Leadership:
- Track and help implement common innovation initiatives that enhance the group’s competitive edge in design, technology, and sustainability
- Monitor industry trends and emerging opportunities to position the division as a forward-thinking leader in architecture
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Master’s degree in business administration or a related field, such as finance, architecture, or engineering
- At least 8 years experience in an executive or business management role
- Proven experience in a leadership or strategic role within architecture, engineering, or a related design field
- Strong understanding of global business operations, P&L management, and cross-cultural collaboration
- Exceptional organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage complex, multi-faceted projects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of working effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Passion for innovation, sustainability, and excellence in the built environment
