What you'll be doing

Who we're looking for

As a Planner, you will be a pivotal member of the project team, ensuring effective planning and programming throughout the project lifecycle. You will work closely with stakeholders, utilising your civil construction experience to drive project success.

Strong operational experience in civil engineering or construction projects (site engineer/site agent background preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules that align with planning standards and contractual requirements.
• Collaborate with operational teams to define construction methods, sequencing, and resource allocation.
• Identify potential risks, opportunities, and constraints to proactively optimize project delivery.
• Produce and present planning deliverables, including detailed programmes, reports, and progress updates.
• Interface with third parties to resolve planning and scheduling issues.
• Ensure the contract programme is issued and communicated effectively to all stakeholders.
• Support lean visual planning to enhance productivity, performance, and safety.

Who we're looking for

What You’ll Bring:

• Strong operational experience in civil engineering or construction projects (site engineer/site agent background preferred).
• Proficiency in planning tools and techniques, with a solid understanding of construction methods and resource planning.
• Experience with tender and contract documentation, programming, and progress monitoring.
• Expertise in risk and opportunity management within a planning context.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to engage and motivate cross-functional teams.
• Relevant qualifications, including a valid CSCS card.
