Job Description
The Workpack Close-Out Lead is responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate completion of work packs, facilitating the smooth transition from active project phases to final close-out. A key part of this role is the interface with our teams on and offshore as well as our client stakeholders, and it is essential that the lead can establish strong working relationships and has a passion for completing our scopes to a high standard within the agreed timeframe.
Responsibilities
Effective Close-out is crucial to project delivery excellence and as such the following is seen as the key responsibilities
- Stakeholder Coordination: Acts as a liaison between project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders, ensuring alignment and timely completion of tasks.
- Team Lead: Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members to ensure smooth workflow and task completion.
- Training and Development: Identify training needs and opportunities for team members, supporting their professional growth and development.
- Lead by example: setting high personal standards for peers to follow.
- Clear communication: co-ordination with relevant site and office- based personnel.
- Proactively demonstrate and drive safety and leadership.
- Performance Monitoring: Regularly assess team performance, providing feedback and guidance to ensure high standards are maintained.
- Agile Reporting – regular updates and reports to management using our agile delivery methodology enabling informed decision-making and proactive issue resolution.
- Quality Assurance: Conducts thorough quality checks to ensure all work meets the required standards and specifications, reducing the risk of errors and rework.
- Workpack Close-out Efficiency: Ensures all work pack documentation is accurate and up-to-date, facilitating clear communication and record-keeping.
- Compliance Management: Ensures all activities comply with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements, maintaining high standards of safety and legality.
- Risk Mitigation: Works with the team to identify potential risks and implements measures to mitigate them, ensuring smooth project progression and minimizing disruptions.
- Continuous Improvement: Contributes to the development and implementation of best practices and process improvements, enhancing overall project efficiency and effectiveness.
