About the Role

Job Title: Junior Server Engineer

We are looking for dynamic, passionate individuals to join our team and support our vision of delivering exceptional services. As a Junior Server Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining, developing, and optimizing our server infrastructure across a complex, multi-site IT environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting and developing new capabilities in cloud technologies, virtualization, server software and hardware, storage, and system interoperability.
• Mentoring junior team members to foster their professional growth.
• Managing server infrastructure, virtualization platforms, and enterprise-wide services.
• Overseeing provisioning, maintenance, support, capacity planning, and optimization of critical infrastructure.
• Managing SAN (Storage Area Network) provisioning, utilization reporting, and capacity management.
• Coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills for conveying complex ideas effectively.
• Collaboration skills for working in cross-functional teams and achieving shared goals.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple projects.
• Adaptability to dynamic environments and changing priorities.
• Exposure to technologies such as Windows Server infrastructure, MS Azure, VMware (7.0+), SAN storage, identity management (Active Directory, Azure AD, Okta), and backup solutions like Rubrik.
• Familiarity with monitoring platforms (e.g., SolarWinds).

Desirable Skills

While not required, the following skills will give you an edge:

• ITIL Certification and experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud services.
• Familiarity with SolarWinds Hybrid Cloud Observability and Microsoft Exchange 2019.
• Understanding of networking, Microsoft SQL server administration, and clustering.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting and data center operations.
