An opportunity has arisen for a talented Cloud Solutions Architect to join our Architect team based from one of our regional offices.
Your Role and What You'll Be Doing
Our Solutions Architects are each aligned to a domain of responsibility and lead on developing architectures in their domain that aligns the solutions to the joint business and enterprise architecture needs. This role sits in our IT Enablers portfolio – a multi-year ambitious and exciting transformation our technology estate. As such, we are on our transformation journey from legacy on-premises to cloud, with solutions needing development across Compute and Storage, Connectivity, and Workplace Services.
As part of the above project you can expect to get involved in various tasks which include, but not limited to; looking at producing solutions to new systems that are being brought, working with key stakeholders to understand the business requirements, formulating designs and taking them through normal governance, working in collaboration with our engineering team through the implementation process and supporting/knowledge sharing with more junior members of the team.
About You
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Solutions Architect, with excellent power skills with experience in stakeholder management (technical and non-technical), multi-vendor supplier engagement, and technology leadership.
