We're partnering with the UK's leading not-for-profit healthcare provider, committed to improving the health and well-being of individuals and communities to recruit a Commercial Finance Analyst on a 12 month fixed term contract.
The Commercial Finance Analyst will play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making and financial planning processes across the organisation. You will be responsible for providing high-quality financial analysis, insightful recommendations to support the delivery of the long term strategic goals, contributing to a healthier nation.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the provision of analysis and business insight for commercial decision support to stakeholders
- Deliver performance & KPI reporting with appraisal to support the Senior in partnering the Chief Commercial Officer & Executive Operations Directors & their teams
- Develop financial & non financial KPI MI metrics to understand performance & improvement areas
- Provide insight for Trading performance in meetings such as weekly trading calls, monthly trading forums & other planning meetings
- Assist with the Trading requirements of the annual budget and monthly/quarterly forecasts from assumption gathering and challenge
- Build financial models for review to underpin investment business cases and ad hoc financial analysis
The ideal candidate will;
- Be a finalist or fully qualified CCAB accountant
- Have strong analytical and excel skills and ideally experience of planning or reporting tools e.g. Tableau, Power BI
- Have strong presentation skills written, verbal and graphical with the ability to present financial information to non-finance senior stakeholders in a way they understand
- Have worked in a complex, matrix style environment across different sites and products/services
- Be ambitious, proactive, self-motivated and willing to learn
