Legal Counsel - Commercial Contracts

A leading tech company are hiring a mid-level commercial counsel with in-house experience to join and manage all complex commercial agreements both internally and B2B.

Working in a strong, dynamic team, you will be part of a growing business that prioritises work-life balance and personal performance. Suited to someone requiring a 9-5 position or part-time work.

Role Requirements:

• With experience in an in-house role working on general commercial work, including managing DP and IP where required.
• Strong drafting skills on a range of general commercial contracts including service agreements, technology contracts, data sharing agreements, nomination agreements and any other commercial contracts
• Working as the sole business partner to the procurement, partnerships, IT and people team to provide support and taking ownership when managing projects
• Management of the completion of contracts with the relevant internal and external stakeholders
• Working independently with confidence to escalate complex issues with the wider legal and compliance teams as required
• Maintain and update precedent documents and templates as required

Skills and experience:

• 5 years of post-qualification experience in a commercial legal team
• Experience working in an in-house legal team managing complex commercial work
• Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of communication with stakeholders and the rest of the legal team;
• Strong collegiate skills, being able to work with all levels of the legal team and wider business
• Strong time management skills, including the ability to manage workload and work within tight deadlines and an ability to work and prioritise matters systematically and methodically;
