Job Title: Commercial Operations Manager

Location: Reading (hybrid) - 3 days a week on site

Salary: up to £50,000 + benefits

Our client, a leading player in the dermo-cosmetic sector, is seeking a proactive and dynamic Commercial Operations Manager to join their innovative Sales and Marketing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with iconic brands in a role that combines strategic operational support, customer relationship management, and project leadership.


Key Responsibilities

Commercial Operations:

  • Manage and optimize sample and free-of-charge allocations to maximize impact across sales, pharmacy, and healthcare professional teams.
  • Coordinate price change implementation (CPI) to ensure timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate across teams (digital, PR, trade, sales, logistics) for seamless execution of new product launches.
  • Streamline processes, enhance sales efficiencies, and drive data-driven decision-making through analytics and reporting.
  • Support account planning and provide operational tools for better team performance.


Customer Relations:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for escalated customer issues, delivering exceptional service and solutions.
  • Lead communication with internal teams and external distributors to ensure smooth operations.
  • Manage online retailer approvals and ensure compliance with global e-commerce standards.


Project Management:

  • Oversee project planning, risk management, and execution, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and business objectives.
  • Drive compliance with procurement processes and ensure smooth collaboration across teams.
  • Adapt to changes and ensure projects deliver expected outcomes and benefits.


What We’re Looking For

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to inspire and guide teams.
  • Experience or interest in sales, operations, supply chain, and logistics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM systems is advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
