As Communications Advisor you will join us on our journey and undertake a truly valuable role responsibility for achieving outcomes that enhance the reputation of the Post Office, demonstrating to audiences, and in particular colleagues, the value Post Office brings to society and to employees.

You will work closely with the Director of Integrated Communications Planning and the Head of Colleague Communications to draft and tailor clear messages to ensuring they reach the right segmented audience at the right time.

The role focuses on enhancing the reputation of the Post Office as a whole and the minimisation of risk. This will require applying a Corporate Affairs and Communications lens to a wide range of complex issues across the Post Office and a willingness to flex across multiple audiences.

This role is role is essential to the effective and efficient delivery of all corporate affairs and communications programmes, helping enhance the reputation of the Post Office.

What you'll need to succeed

Strong experience and understanding of corporate affairs and communications

Ideally worked in Government, Retailer or FMCG business

Deep understanding of business practices and how to realise commercial advantages is desirable

Good experience and how to influence different audiences internal and external, strong contributor to wider audience strategy.

Excellent communication skills with a passion for clarity and argument and a strong eye for detail

Ability to promote a culture of excellence, encouraging colleagues to delight in the best possible work
