Roles & Responsibilities

Your role as an Associate Director in our National Tax Reporting (compliance) team will include:

• Reviewing and approving corporation tax computations and tax accounting, as well as undertaking some tax assurance reviews. Involved in ad-hoc advisory work that flows naturally from your Reporting responsibilities.
• Negotiating and raising timetables and fees and being responsible for WIP management on your portfolio of clients.
• Being an active member to national Tax Reporting Team, ensure national procedures are rolled out and fully adopted in Milton Keynes, providing guidance, coaching and training to junior staff members to help them maximise their career opportunities .

Skills, knowledge and experience

• Extensive experience of working with a portfolio of clients to deliver on annual Tax Reporting requirements (there will be a mix of compliance and advisory work).
• Broad experience of managing the financials on clients, setting timetables delivering on budgets and negotiating fees with clients.
• Experience of identifying opportunities for business development on tax clients (and ideally across other service lines).
• Willingness to take on leadership roles both within Milton Keynes and across the wider Tax reporting team, genuine route to Partner level in 3-5 years.
