Stevenage with Hybrid Working
At the IET, making our world a better place starts by creating a better place for our people.
At the IET you’ll have more than just a job. Our work is exciting and challenging, connecting the people who solve the problems that matter. It means working with us has real meaning and impact, and you’ll grow – professionally and personally – in ways you never thought possible.
We’re also making significant investments in our people, including providing a modern, vibrant workplace and embracing hybrid working.
What you'll be doing
As a Course Producer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and creating high-quality events and technical courses within the engineering and technology sectors. From curating course content to launching brand new courses, you’ll ensure our offerings align with industry needs, meet learning objectives, and remain commercially competitive.
You will lead the end-to-end course development process, including conducting in-depth market research, developing compelling agendas, and securing expert speakers and trainers.
In addition, you’ll review data and metrics to assess course performance and identify opportunities for growth and innovation, watching out for trends and data that may pinpoint new course suitability or areas/markets we may target. Launching new courses and adapting existing ones to capture emerging trends is also a critical part of the role.
With collaboration at the heart of what we do, you’ll work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver courses that are impactful and relevant. Whether supporting committees and speakers, or identifying strategic opportunities, your contribution will support and grow the IET’s reputation as a global leader in professional development and course provision.
