Role Overview

The Creative Operations Director will be responsible for Creative workflow, increasing throughput and efficiency of Creative departments, whilst always protecting quality. Taking the lead on understanding and implementing emerging technologies, the OD will ensure that we are working with best-in-class solutions, and that these are integrated within the end-to-end process for optimum results. Through optimising process and practices and embedding technology, the Creative Operations Director will deliver and articulate significant efficiencies, enabling the agency to output increased volumes with the same headcount.

This role will be overall responsible for the workflow through the Creative team, and will work closely with stakeholders either side of this workflow, to ensure that best practice is embedded e2e.

The OD will work closely with Creative, Operations, Resourcing and Production teams, and will have line management of:


  • Head of Retouching

  • BHX Producers


  • Responsibilities:


  • Instrumental to the applications and new tech being embedded i.e. Unreal, Content Studio and use of GenAI.

  • Establish process and provide continued guidance on WoW, with varying approaches based on brief type.

  • Partner with Agency Leads in advising risk management of proposed creative deliverables for all stages of creative delivery.

  • SME and escalation point for Creative and Production delivery challenges.

  • Optimising Demand capacity where possible, always looking for best value for our clients.

  • Responsible for supporting Resource teams in transposing Creative Demand into delivery.

  • Contributing to continued process improvement to ensure successful delivery against SLA with the client.

  • Leverage analytics and tools to identify actionable insights and recommendations to help the business capabilities and sustain growth and profitability, executing improvement plans as required.

  • Present complex analytics and findings to senior leads in a simplified view, utilising analysis in re- shaping workflows and re-modelling as we grow.

  • Streamlining best practice for robust and efficient creative process and ways of working, with investment into workable platforms, connecting disparate departmental software functions.

  • Deployment of new CGI specialists in supporting Creative visualisation and growing that offering to wider business needs.

  • Applying and reporting on calculated and measured process improvements.

  • Leadership and mentorship of multi-disciplinary teams, supporting the career development and training needs of the immediate and wider teams within the Creative department. Refining direct reporting structure, and define and execute operational organisational structures, its workflow processes, recruitment, onboarding and change programs. Setting clear goals for team members in achieving their best and working towards their objectives.

  • Engaging with Project Managers, Market Leads and internal Accenture stakeholders across the business and keeping relevant parties informed.


  • Person Specification Experience/Skills:


  • Extensive experience within a senior Production role

  • Thorough understanding of CGI, Retouching and at scale Creative Production processes

  • An innate ability to develop strong, trusted relationships

  • Innovative and strategic approach to problem-solving

  • Ability to manage and prioritise a complex and varied workload

  • An innate ability to develop strong, trusted relationships with our clients and teams

  • Flair for multi-tasking and handling a high volume of work efficiently and accurately

  • Solid analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills

  • Meticulous attention to detail and exceptionally organised

  • Excellent presentation and verbal/written communication skills

  • Proficient using Adobe software, and Office 365 including Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint for Mac

  • Experience with Workfront (SynOps for Marketing) beneficial but not essential
