The role of Credit Controller – Sales Ledger Reporting is really important to us. You will be responsible for managing the consolidation of group ledgers for reporting and producing meaningful and timely escalation, cash collection and DSO reporting for the global telematics businesses.

The role will suit someone with previous credit control or ledger management experience, excellent communication skills and good knowledge of excel who is looking to drive change in a fast growing and busy international team.

Your Responsibilities Day To Day Will Be…

• Supporting the telematics credit management team with production of weekly and monthly sales ledger reporting.
• Responsible for weekly reporting of overdue balances in line with credit policy.
• Consolidation of weekly stop and release data.
• Reconciliation of payments ensuring correct allocation.
• Compile credit and refund requests for approval.
• Supporting credit control colleagues with complex reconciliation and statements as requires.
• Supporting credit managers with developing productivity and effectiveness metrics.
• Producing country MI packs to drive credit performance reviews.
• Identify opportunities to innovate and improve existing processes.
• Identify risks and issues impacting collection from daily activities. Work with the credit manager on policy, process, or procedural changes to mitigate risk and drive improvement.
• Build strong and effective working relationships with stakeholders to support the business with customer retention and financial targets from your role.
  
  
  

Experience / Qualifications Required

• Experience in credit control or sales ledger reporting.
• Microsoft Office skills, proficient in Excel.
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to prioritise and keep to deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
• Outstanding communication skills with the ability to operate at all levels internally and externally.
• Highly presentable with strong organisational and motivational skills
• A ‘can do’ positive attitude and comfortable ‘rolling your sleeves up’
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
