School Crossing Patroller

5 hours per week – 38 weeks per year - term time only

Shakespeare Road Primary School, Honicknowle Lane, PL5 3JU

Morning shift: 8.20 to 8.50 am

Afternoon shift: 3.00 to 3.30 pm

We are looking to recruit someone to take on this fulfilling role, which not only benefits the school but is appreciated by the whole community. You will be working outside standing and walking in all weathers carrying the School Crossing Patrol pole so a sense of humour is required!

We provide everything in the way of uniform, training and support - no special experience or qualifications are necessary. If you are friendly, outgoing and available during school term time this could be the job for you.

You will play a vital role in community safety by ensuring children and other members of the community have a safer place to cross the road. As a School Crossing Patroller, you can make a real difference to the safety of children at the beginning and end of the school day and encourage more children to walk.
