Are you passionate about delivering excellent customer service and looking for a part-time role that fits your schedule? We are currently seeking a Customer Service Advisor to join our welcoming and experienced Insurance team in Swindon. With a minimum of 20 hours per week (working pattern to be agreed), this is an ideal opportunity for someone eager to work with a successful, independent local insurance broker.

You will be supporting the smooth operation of our office and delivering top-notch service to our commercial clients. Reporting directly to Owner Syd Jackson, you'll be part of a close-knit team that offers a great opportunity to learn and grow in the industry.

Key responsibilities as a Customer Service Advisor will include:

  • Assist in managing day-to-day administrative tasks, including data entry, and document preparation
  • Handle incoming calls and emails from clients and provide them with efficient and friendly service
  • Taking and recording accurately first notification of loss details for claims
  • Support our insurance agents by processing policy applications, endorsements, and cancellations accurately and within established timelines
  • Checking documentation from Insurers to ensure any errors or omissions are corrected prior to issue to clients
  • Liaising with insurers and clients to obtain information and updates, inputting accurately to the system
  • Managing and collecting outstanding client payments

About You

As our Customer Service Advisor, you’ll have the ability and drive to work in a small but successful team. You’ll be the type of person who is organised, has good attention to detail and enjoys supporting others to provide outstanding service to our commercial clients.

You will have:

  • A good knowledge of Microsoft office
  • Strong customer service and communication skills with excellent telephone manner
  • Attention to detail and proven ability to multi-task, updating relevant systems where necessary.
  • A good understanding of social media.
