Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our team and drive data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering, analysing, and interpreting large datasets to provide actionable insights that support business strategy and operations. The Data Analyst will collaborate with multiple departments/clients to ensure data accuracy, identify trends, and help optimize business processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Collection and Cleaning: Gather data from various sources (databases, reports, APIs) and ensure its accuracy and consistency.
• Data Analysis: Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations, using statistical methods and data visualization techniques.
• Reporting and Visualization: Develop clear and concise reports and dashboards (using tools like Excel, Power BI) to communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Business Intelligence: Work closely with teams across the company (sales, marketing, product, etc.) to understand business needs and provide relevant data analysis to support decision-making.
• Trend Analysis: Monitor and analyze market and industry trends to provide forecasts and actionable insights for business growth.
• Data Models and Algorithms: Develop and implement data models, algorithms, and predictive models to enhance business outcomes.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, methodologies, and data sources.
• Data Governance: Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  
  

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience: 1-3 years of experience in data analysis or a related role.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL etc.
• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Strong understanding of statistical methods and data modeling.
• Experience in working with large datasets and relational databases.
• Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret complex datasets and translate them into actionable insights.
• Attention to Detail: Precision and accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
• Problem-Solving: Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues using data-driven solutions.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present data findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
