Data Architect

Data Architect – London – 12 Month FTC - up to £90,000

VIQU have partnered with one of the UK’s leading brands that are currently hiring a Data Architect. The client is undergoing a large data and technology transformation and are recruiting several roles across their data landscape.

The Data Architect will focus on leading and shaping the architectural design of the Data Platform to make sure that it is well integrated with the company’s system and adheres to regulatory requirements.

The position will benefit from hybrid working of 3 days a week onsite from their London office.

Requirements of the Data Architect:

- 5+ Years experience in Data Architect or Solutions Architect position

- Strong experience in Azure/Databricks architecture

- Good knowledge of data security, governance and compliance

- Experience in data modelling, data management, data integration, data transformation, and deployment.

- Ideally some experience within the financial sector

Responsibilities of the Data Platform Technical Architect:

- Design complex data solutions in Azure

- Manage the data platforms connectivity to ensure integration between EDP and other business systems.

- Technical implementation of data processing, storage, integration strategies, consumption, deployment and data management

- Work with key stakeholders to come to conclusions surrounding the most effective data strategies

- Ensure compliance with regulatory and governance frameworks
