This requires a driven & inspirational clinical registrant with a proven track record of providing progressive/innovative digital clinical leadership. The postholder will be motivated to work in a national organisation whose ambition is to provide the highest quality of care to the population of Wales
Working with the Executive Director of Quality & Nursing (EDQN) to provide board level assurance that services are being delivered in accordance with the relevant legislation and professional requirements. The ability to demonstrate high level of interpersonal/communication skills, including the application of tact & diplomacy in challenging situations is essential for this role

Ensure the highest quality of patient care via strategic leadership, evidence-based policy development & the implementation of clinical excellence culture throughout the organisation
Accountable for achieving high-quality care for patients in non-face-to-face/remote environments, ensuring effective clinical practice at the top of licence for Enhanced and Advanced Practice, engaging directly on behalf of the Trust with health & care system partner organisations to achieve Welsh Government prudent care
Drive transformation & service change to enhance patient experience & outcomes, contribute to improved population health & optimise efficiency across NHS Wales as an integrated health system
Provide clinical leadership to enable the integration of the Trust 999 & 111 Wales remote clinical consultation, assessment & advice services
Contributing & advising on the strategic leadership of the Trust through the reporting of progress against clinical objectives, professional leadership & consultation
Play a significant role in ensuring that governance systems function effectively, the role is required to Chair internal & external meetings & have oversight of key systems/processes relating to clinical practice & professional activities which support Trust governance
Provide professional leadership to all registered & non-registered clinicians working in remote clinical care settings
Leading the organisation’s activities in advancing patient care & the professional agenda
