Where you’ll work:
At OVO, we understand that a one size fits all approach doesn’t work for everyone. That’s why we created the OVO Way of Flexibility.
All our roles are hub based (Bristol, Glasgow or London), providing a dedicated space for collaboration, connection and teamwork. You’ll also have the flexibility to work from home. Ideally, we're looking for candidates who are able to commute to our London or Bristol hub.

This role in a nutshell:
Exciting things have been happening at OVO, we’re growing and we’re looking for enthusiastic, ambitious, passionate new co-workers to use the power of our brand to drive our mission.
As a Midweight Designer, we’ll need you to create visual concepts across projects, and champion exceptional design and craft. You’ll have excellent collaboration and communication skills, attention to detail and artistic flair. A strategic mindset, ready to tackle any challenge with a can-do attitude with the ability to apply creative thinking to briefs.
You’ll work across all design elements, from concept to delivery, to ensure a cohesive and visually appealing outcome. We are looking for a designer who also can animate, and who has hands-on experience with Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite.
You’ll be a successful Midweight Designer at OVO if you…
- Up-to-date knowledge and experience working at a creative agency or in-house creative team
- An outstanding portfolio of published work spanning different channels, from print to digital, including advertising, branding, motion, landing pages, and reports
- Excellent hands-on experience with Figma and Adobe Creative SuiteMotion experience (required)
- Email and performance marketing channel expertise
- The ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality design work
- The ability to translate complex ideas into simple, clear, and compelling designs
- The ability to think creatively, present ideas, and articulate the thinking behind them
- Excellent attention to detailGood spelling and grammar
- Quick and calm thinking skillsConfidence in multi-tasking, managing your workload, and delivering projects on time and on brief

We’ll pay you between £32,270 - £42,600, depending on your specific skills and experience. If your expectations are a little different, have a chat with us!
We keep our pay ranges broad on purpose to give us, and you, flexibility to match your experience to our zero carbon mission.
You’ll be eligible for an on-target bonus of 15%. We have one OVO bonus plan that focuses on the collective performance of our people to deliver our Plan Zero goal.
