Destination City is the growth strategy for the Square Mile. Working closely with our partners, it is a plan of collective action that enables the City of London Corporation to deliver all the activities, initiatives, and strategies which contribute to the City’s dynamic economic growth. Our ambition is to position the City as a magnetic destination – for businesses, workers and visitors.
A new Destination City Hub will work at the heart of the City Corporation to deliver our growth strategy. The Hub and programme have initial funding for 2 years.
This is a new role, as part of a new team, and the post-holders will be tasked with helping to build and establish processes.
The Role
As Partnerships Coordinator (Destination City), you’ll work closely with the Senior Responsible Officer (SRO) for Destination City, the Head of Destination City Programme, Head of City BIDs and the team members who form the programme management office (PMO) of the Destination City Hub as the administrative lead for the Hub.
The Person
The ideal candidate is super organised and love a checklist. You have experience managing diaries and schedules, know how to organise small events, have a positive, can-do mindset. You have excellent writing skills, are able to prioritise effectively, and while you’ll work independently, you also have a collaborative approach to working with colleagues.
You are a problem-solver, with the ability to anticipate issues and offer solutions proactively.
