The Development Team supports this mission through the design, development and deployment of reliable, functionally rich and market leading software. The purpose of the Developer role is to fully engage and contribute to the software development process within Tribal, operating with a high degree of competence and professionalism.

The team manage our K2 Asset and Facilities Management system, a leading solution to allow our clients to list their assets, run reports on buildings and monitor space utilisation.

The role will be home based with the occasional travel to a Tribal office when required. Please note this is a 12 month fixed term contract.

The Role

• Translate user requirements and specifications into clear design, architecture, and technical output to streamline client functionality.
• Conduct impact analysis of new features and defect fixes, documenting as per standards.
• Participate in code quality activities (e.g., Unit Testing, Code Reviews) and suggest improvements to coding practices.
• Identify root causes of defects, spot patterns, and propose practical solutions.
• Ensure code is accurate, supportable, and testable.
• Break down user requirements into detailed work items in the tracking system.

The Person

Candidates will bring their experience in C# desktop development, SQL Server, Agile and Source Control (GIT).

It's also important to have .NET Framework, ASP.Net MVC, HTML, CSS and Javascript experience as well as Unit Testing.

Although it's not essential, it would be great if you have experience in Mobile Development, Azure Cloud, Maui/Xamarin.Forms and Endor.
