Digital Manager to work with
Murphy Applied Engineering to be based out of one of our offlice locations.

Under the banner of Murphy Applied Engineering, our in-house teams include civil, structural, mechanical, geotechnical and process engineers. They design both permanent and temporary works for projects in all our locations and are a trusted source of expert advice for both Murphy colleagues and external customers.
A day in the life of a Murphy Digital Manager
- Work with the Digital engineering and doc control functions and the internal digital delivery teams supporting the implementation of new Digital Engineering practices within the BU.
- Support the resource demands across the discipline teams within MAE and direct with the project teams.
- Research best practice, test, prove and support the implementation of well governed initiatives within the BU.
- Support the adoption of the CDE systems within the BU and work within the Groups systems, policies, and procedures to support our ISO 19650 Certification.
- Ensure the compliance of CDE systems to meet the requirements within the BU.
- Support the effective implementation of best practice with training material/sessions where appropriate.
- Act as a point of contact for related technical support within the BU and support the mobilisation of systems.
- Assessing digital competency amongst multiple disciplinary teams across the key Murphy sectors (both internally and externally).
- Technical ownership and delivery of BIM Execution Plans on projects.
- Capture technical requirements within the BU supporting the overall key Murphy sector.
- Capture and share evidence of technical best practice within the BU regarding BIM and Digital Engineering.
- Support regular reviews to ensure compliance. Reporting monthly and escalating appropriately.
- Review statistics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Providing input and review of related pre-qualification/tender submissions.

- Proven experience delivering the requirements of ISO 19650 suite of standards.
- Experience of field scanning technology an advantage
- An understanding of automation principles through technology solutions.
- Experience working in a BIM environment
- Thorough approach to quality control and a zest for sharing best practice.
- Collaborative and professional attitude with proven BIM acumen.
- Experience within design of Infrastructure projects.
- Experience with collaborative tools that support the digital and BIM principles.
- Effective planning or resources and managing capabilities to work efficiently
