Contract Type: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Job Overview

Southern Water will be delivering a significant increase in its capital delivery programme over the next five-year period that will require the implementation of a range of digital initiatives.

The first six months you will be managing the “Common Data Environment” initiative to accelerate its delivery and improve its maturity. Through building relationships across all key stakeholders this role will then shift in responsibilities to managing a portfolio of IT initiatives that enable the transformation required for Asset Management and Capital Delivery.

Project management of the Bentley Common Data Environment (BCDE) initiative:

  • Manage the plan and dependencies
  • Work with BAs and User groups to understand user journeys
  • Work with Change Manager to ensure embedment of new system and related ways of working

Drive Portfolio Of IT Initiatives

  • Using the outputs from the E2E process mapping and digital road mapping and working with nominated initiative owners, manage and co-ordinate the planning, prioritisation and co-ordination of a portfolio of digital initiatives into a credible plan.
  • Ensure that the digital initiatives are in WAVE, follow the transformation office processes and ensure suitable quality of initiative documentation
  • Work closely with IT department, Asset Management and Capital Delivery Teams and Transformation office, process owners and change

Accountabilities

  • Plan development and engagement 15%
  • Project management 60%
  • Risk, issue, assumption, and dependency management 15%
  • Reporting 10%

Package

This role will be full time Monday to Friday with a hybrid approach to working between our Durrington office and home.
