What To Expect

We have an exciting new opportunity in the Customer Experience (CX) Team, reporting to the Head of Digital Delivery and Operations, for a Digital Test Manager. The Digital Test Manager will be responsible for leading a team of four Test Engineers who will be split across the Ace (Website) and Fargo (Mobile Travel App) Development Teams.

This is a role for someone who has strong prior experience with Manual and Automated Testing with also extensive experience as a Test Lead or Manager and has worked in an Agile Delivery environment. The Test Manager will be working closely with the team to own, extend and refine the current manual testing regime for the Website and Travel App, and to develop a Testing Automation Framework for both Applications.

As the Digital Test Manager, you may also contribute to functionality, regression and acceptance testing of platforms within the organisation, and coordinating internal and external testing where required. We are looking for someone who can make a real impact and is excited about owning the testing process and implementing their ideas.

What You’ll Need To Succeed

• 2-3 years of prior experience in a Test Lead / Test Manager role
• Experience of building out test teams and implementing best practices
• Significant experience with Manual Testing of Web Applications and Mobile Apps
• Knowledge and competency of Mobile App Deployments for Android and IoS
• Knowledge and experience with WCAG (Accessibility) principles, guidelines and success criteria implemented.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Strong leadership skills
• Experience of cloud-native micro-services and distributed systems (AWS ideally)
• Experience of testing and leveraging testing capabilities in cloud infrastructure environments (AWS ideally)
• Automation testing experience with the ability to create test automation frameworks using open-source technologies, such as Selenium Webdriver, Cucumber/JBehave, Gherkin, and APIs.
