Deloitte’s Real Estate Advisory team in the UK consists of circa 250 people and is widely recognised as being the leading advisor to clients in the Infrastructure & Capital Projects sectors, with a particular focus on the application of innovation in these industries. We work with clients across the UK, Europe and the Middle East, helping them to set up and deliver some of the world’s largest and most complex capital programmes.

This is a senior role within the Real Estate Advisory team with a focus on driving the growth of our Infrastructure & Capital Projects advisory services. We’re looking for a professional with strong experience of business development, engagement delivery, team leadership and the continued development of our people and services.
We have a diverse team of people from a wide range of backgrounds including engineering, construction, project management, cost consultancy and accountancy. We bring a combination of sector specific insights and experience ranging from early-stage strategy definition, through programme set up and capability building to technology implementation. As such, your role will involve work across multiple sectors including transport, energy, telecoms, utilities, and construction.

The role is for an experienced capital projects advisory leader with who is comfortable with selling and managing the delivery of engagements in the following key areas:
Many of our engagements involve collaboration across Deloitte teams both in the UK and overseas to deliver multi-disciplinary solutions.
We are looking for people who are comfortable dealing with clients at the executive and senior management levels, many of whom may not be specialists in capital projects and how they are delivered. This will require someone who is an excellent communicator and is able to summarise complex situations and technical information into clear and actionable advice. Example experience includes:

Infrastructure and Real Estate
Our Infrastructure and Real Estate team supports both public and private sector clients on complex infrastructure, real estate, and capital projects. Typical engagements include urban regeneration, transport, energy and renewables, and occupier advisory to central government and large corporate companies.
Personal independence
Regulation and controls are standard practice in our industry and Deloitte is no exception. These controls provide important legal protection for both you and the firm. We are subject to a number of audit regulations, one of which requires that certain colleagues abide by specific personal independence constraints (e.g., in relation to any financial interests and employment relationships). This can mean that you and your "Immediate Family Members" are not permitted to hold certain financial interests (shares, funds, bonds etc.) with audit clients of the firm, and also prohibitions on certain employment relationships (e.g., you are not permitted to hold a secondary employment role with SEC audit clients of the firm whilst being employed by the firm).
